Lexapro Free (scratch that)

I spent most of yesterday afternoon dizzy and feeling pretty loopy. This morning is tough too. I feel like I'm walking in play doh.

I think the weekend's clear head and energy boost was a fluke. I really want this to be over.

  3. Beth, there are several lexapro forums that I've been reading. It's good to read that what I'm experiencing is 'normal' but it's scary to read that the withdrawal can last a long time.

I also just learned that the restless legs that have been keeping me awake can also be due to the Lexapro. I never had this problem before. I hope it goes away.

  4. Been thinking of you and hoping it was going well. Hang in there, oh, and try upping your calcium for the legs, calcium can help with restless leg syndrome and maybe something about the withdrawl depletes or blocks it.

And since I'm freely dispensing nutritional advice here, lol, if you need to relax, try drinking valerian tea -- I'll warn you, it tastes pretty awful and is made only moderately better by the addition of mint (which you can often find it combined with) -- but it REALLY works. I let it cool to room temp and hold my nose & chug. You can also find it in capsule form but I prefer the more natural tea.

    Will keep sending positive vibes!
