I finally got a hold of the woman for the genetic testing. She's been out on vacation and returned to the office today. I will be meeting with her next Tuesday the 18th for an 'education session' and draw the blood. I asked her how long it will take to get the results and she said usually 3 to 4 weeks.
That puts us at mid-January before we get the results, then the surgeon has to review them and then we decide what action to take. I'm stunned at how long this process takes.
I'm holding at my original estimate that we won't even start treatment until the end of February.
